The disinfectable, wireless Medical Keyboard AKC8112 in full layout is highly versatile in hygiene critical areas and lives up to the high demands of frequent users in hospitals and medical practices. The silicone cover and the especially flat key profile allow for the highest level of cleaning and disinfection. Being waterproof, the AK-C8112 can be sprayed, wiped or even immersed in disinfectants and the ultra-flat key profile prevents microbial growth on contaminants and disinfectant residues in gaps.

Depending on the hygienic requirements, it is available with a removable membrane that can be autoclaved for sterilization or a permanently installed silicone membrane with IP68 rating. To make wipe disinfection even more efficient, the CleanFunction disables the key input, so you do not need to disconnect the keyboard.

In addition to its cleaning capabilities, the AKC8112 has compelling technical features. The easy key orientation, light keystroke, abrasion resistant labeling and 2.4 GHz wireless connection make it a reliable, safe and durable tool in every medical setting.
