The Pro DVI-D to VGA Converter is an ideal solution for connecting newer laptops or computers that output a digital DVI-D video signal to legacy displays, such as projectors or monitors, which accept a VGA input. This device converts the digital DVI-D video signal to an analogue VGA video signal. Many products on the market, particularly cables, claim this capability; however, most of these products only "adapt" from DVI-D to VGA. Without an active conversion process, there are very few devices that are able to output an analogue VGA signal from a DVI-D output.

The Pro DVI-D to VGA Converter is an active device which converts a digital DVI-D signal to an analogue VGA video signal. This product is easy to use with no software or drivers required. For added convenience, this device is bus powered from the DVI-D port, so no additional power source is required. A 3.5mm stereo audio output is also included so that audio can be enjoyed through the display.
